I bought an in app item, app crashed! I bought it again! Then i found that the item was purchased twice! Give my 5$ back!

I paid for All Languages and the upgrade and the app keeps shutting off! I really love this app, Im learning so much but its always cutting off on me.

I LOVE THIS APP. I cannot say this enough!! Dont mind the other reviewers, I signed up with email instead of Facebook, its just so that if you switch devices or have multiple devices you can log in easily. I first learned French as my 2nd language, when I was between the ages of 2 and 4. After my parents migrated to the U.S., my French fluency suffered, and I lost most of it. Over the years Ive taken French courses, and have even tried relearning on my own. This app, is BY FAR, your best resource. It will give you a good foundation, and help you to build upon it. The games are super fun, and challenging, for all ages, and the app itself is very user-friendly and colorful. I have been using it for over a year, in my spare time, and I have tried countless other apps. I love this one the most, because it is the BEST. It makes learning or relearning a language, fun and entertaining, instead of frustrating or discouraging. Their audio recordings of French is perfect, the pronunciation is perfect. Ive been recommending this app to all my friends, who have the desire to learn French, or just want to maintain their fluency. Easily worth buying it, I definitely recommend it.

Wont start without an email address or facebook account. Personal info collected by an app aimed at kids? Deleted.

My phone messed up one day (I bought the 50 lesson pack about a year ago) and now I am trying to get my lessons to download back but they wont. Please help!! -a concerned person who wants to learn French

I dont know why people are complaining about this app, so far Ive downloaded the Italian AND French app and its worked perfectly for me. Of course I could get back on level two when I upgraded to my new iPhone but I aced the French lessons (: not complaining. Ps. I love learning from this app. Dont need to go to college and feel pressured.

There were updates in both the french and Portuguese app but neither help! They have no sound!!! I would really have to hate to uninstall both of them, because I paid for them!!!

So now after i played till level 4 !! I have only 3 games (the numbers lessons) and i dont know how to unlock the rest !! I really want to know what do i have to do to unlock the rest please help ?? I really want to learn french !!

Crashed every time I tried to log in. I was trying to login with Facebook and did not choose to let the app have my email. Not sure if that was the trigger

Would not let me sign up or with Facebook or an email on either French or Italian. I have been messing with this for about an hour and now Im going to school mad!!!!

Awesome learning tool, with good pronunciation, motivational XP points, lessons, review, and lots of game types! Only improvement would be some XP gained for review/mastered words, as otherwise its not as motivating and productive

Once you get into it the actual gameplay is great, and its a fun review for French quizzes, especially since you can select the lessons you would like to use (once you buy the full version). I dont know how useful it would be for someone with no history in the language, but its great practice of youre currently taking a French class or if youre trying to refresh your memory. Its also fantastic in that it throws in a few of the old "mastered" terms every so often so that you dont just move onto the next lesson, forgetting all of the past vocabulary in the process. However, some of the lessons dont allow for the best gameplay. The balloon game is more difficult once the terms become phrases rather than words. The phrases take up more room by default so less balloons fit on a screen. My eyesight is fairly good, so I would rather have smaller text to keep the balloon size standard or at least closer to standard than to let the balloons get that big. Also the way the penguin slider game breaks up words can be annoying, like - de ce mb re - is much more difficult to try to piece together than a phrase divided by word like - nous sommes le 5 novembre - or a word divided by letter - b l a n c. That problem may just be me, so Id take it with a grain of salt. I dont know how realistic fixes for those issues would be, but you come to work around them (like selecting a lesson that works better for a certain game to satisfy a quest). Another issue, one that really needs fixing, is a lack of proper instructions. You are given a screen with a "sample" gameplay, but there are certain aspects to games that you wont learn about until you play through. If this were just any standard game a lack of instructions would be mildly irritating at the beginning but would quickly be overcome. What is crucial to consider is that this game is meant to quiz on vocabulary of a foreign language. Trying to figure out gameplay and vocabulary at the same time is much more difficult than necessary. A full set of instructions for each game should be included in the games loading screen. For those who know how to play, they should put a "skip" option in so that it just goes directly to the game. So many other games do this already so thats a missing feature. Overall its alright for review, but Id really like to see better instructions.

Cant get past the splash screen without registering so I deleted the app. Just wanted to brush up on my French a bit for a lark and there are plenty of ways to do that without creating & remembering another login for the rest of my life just to dabble in a passing fancy. I have a privacy policy too: since each registration is potential exposure to identity theft, fraud, or at least spam, unless I expect significant benefit or long-term use of a site or an app its "Au revoir!"

I like this app because it makes learning vocab fun!

I thought this is an okay app because I did like the games and I didnt like how you have to buy all the lessons I think they should give you at least 2 free lessons

This app makes languages fun to learn. Also, I like the quests. They push you to learn and do more. Without them, I would never be motivated to do the games. However, some quests are very hard and are not worth the points given. For example the Kung Fu Student (finish a perfect game of Belly in 1m 45s) and especially Kung Fu Master (finish a perfect game of Belly in 1m 35s) were extremely hard. Kung Fu Master was worth just 225 Xp and I worked so hard to get that quest. I would suggest either removing these kinds of quests or giving more xp for them. other than that, I love the quests and I cant stop playing this game. :) I also like how you can choose what unit to learn. Some units are a little challenging, so you can postpone the harder units to do later. I recommend everyone download this app!

Okay I have had this app for a while. I ignored it for another French app because I thought it was boring. Then I thought the other app was boring so I started using this app. I was blown away because this app was fun and awesome. I am now learning my months and seasons and on level eight. So Im going to convince everyone, who wants to learn a new, common language, to use the mindsnacks app. Like my sister for example wants to learn Japanese and I told to use the Japanese one when she is ready to learn.
